ORDER
(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 408 420 IPC and Section 66 of Information Technology Act, 2000 in Crime No.11 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is the Manager and custodian of CMS Info System Ltd., and he is authorised to fill the machines in the ATM centres by collecting the amount from the respective branches. In the said process, the petitioner misappropriated a sum of Rs.30 lakhs for which, the respective Banks preferred a complaint before the respondent police.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no way connected with the case and he has been falsely implicated in this case and that there is no previous case against the petitioner.

The learned Government Advocate would submit that the petitioner has misappropriated a sum of Rs.30 lakhs, while involving in the process of filling the ATM machines with money and the investigation is pending and the law enforcing agency secured the other accused, who are involved in the said occurrence.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that huge amount was misappropriated and the gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
