ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to correct the name of the petitioner as "Simi Elza Mathews" instead of "Simi Elsa Mathews" in the mark list in respect of B.Sc. Nursing Course undergone by her with the 4th respondent college.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R.Medical University represented that change of the petitioner's name has already been effected and also duly communicated to the petitioner along with the certificate dated 02.04.2014. In view of the above submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
