ORDER

This writ petition has been filed praying to quash the proceedings of the 1st Respondent bearing Case No.707/2026 dated 18.02.2026.

It is seen that a complaint was lodged by the third respondent before the second respondent in complaint No.707 of 2026 dated 18.02.2026. On receipt of the said complaint, the second respondent issued summon to the petitioner to conduct enquiry, thereby calling upon the petitioner to attend enquiry to be held on 20.02.2026. Accordingly, the petitioner also attended enquiry on 20.02.2026. Now the petitioner has filed this writ petition praying to quash the complaint. Challenging of the complaint would arise only after registration of FIR on the complaint lodged by the third respondent. In fact, on receipt of the said complaint lodged by the third respondent, the second respondent issued summon for conducting enquiry. Accordingly, now the enquiry is under progress. At this stage, the complaint cannot be quashed. As such,

this writ petition is devoid of merits and the same is liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. However, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry on the complaint lodged by the third respondent and dispose of the complaint either by registration of FIR or by closing the complaint, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
