The petitioners, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 302, 307, 323, 324, 341 IPC, in Crime No.358 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have been falsely implicated in this case, as if they were present at the scene of occurrence. He further submitted that there is no specific overtact as against the petitioners in the First Information Report. He further submitted that they are ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court, and hence he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that there are totally 9 accused in this case and the petitioners herein are arrayed as A8 and A9. He further submitted that due to previous enmity, between the

petitioners' family and the defacto complainant's family, as on 07.05.2024, at about 9.30 p.m, when the defacto complainant's son came in his two wheeler, at that time, defacto complainant's son Marimuthu along with other accused pushed him from the bike and attacked him with aruval on his head, and he sustained grievous injury and further, they attacked the defacto complainant and her family with sticks and stones, thereby causing death of the defacto complainant's father and two of them were injured, and they were admitted in the hospital. He further submitted that the investigation is still pending and hence, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioners.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent and perused the entire materials available on record.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and considering the gravity of the offence and also taking note

of the fact that this case needs detailed investigation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
