O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 147, 148, 448, 294(b), 323, 324, 307, 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No. 1067 of 2020, on the file of the respondent, seeks anticipatory bail. The case of the prosecution as per the defacto complainant viz., Kotteeshwai is that the 1st accused is her husband, due to misunderstanding between them there was a quarrel, due to which, the defacto complaint left her matrimonial house and stayed with her parent's house. Whileso, the 1st accused along with other accused came to her parent's house and attacked her with knife and hands. Hence, the complaint.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that in respect of similarly placed accused, this Court had continuously dismissed the bail applications in Crl.O.P.No.11994 of 2020 and Crl.O.P.No.13011 of 2020. He would further submit that the petitioner is also similarly placed person and that against him there are three previous cases. Hence, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Taking into consideration the facts and submissions of the learned Counsel and considering the fact that there are three previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
