Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to Direct the respondents to consider the complaint of the petitioner dated 04.09.2020 and to give adequate police protection to the lives of the petitioner and her husband Gokul and her family members.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed for a direction directing to consider the complaint of the petitioner dated 04.09.2020 and to give adequate police protection to the lives of the petitioner and her husband Gokul and family members.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is aged about 21 years and studying third year of B.A., (Tamil Literature) at Mahindra Arts & Science College, Kalipatti, Namakkal District. She fell in love with one Gokul https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

who is aged about 24 years and got married on 28.08.2020 at Mavallipalayam Vinayakar Temple, Sankagiri, Thereafter, the mother of the petitioner lodged a complaint to the file of the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Sankagiri and she was issued CSR.No.339 of 2020. Therefore, the petitioner apprehends life threat to her as well as to her husband from her own parents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Sankagiri, has conducted enquiry, in which, the mother of the petitioner undertakes that she will not trouble the life of the petitioner and her husband in future.

4. Considering the above said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
