ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 01.05.2022 for the offences punishable under Section 4(1)(aaa) of Tamilnadu Prohibition Act in crime No.114 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in illegal possession of 200 litres of ID arrack. Hence the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that there is a proposal pending for detaining the petitioner under Goondas Act.

5. Considering the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
