ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct to the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, FTC-II, Allikulam, Chennai to complete the trial of C.C.No.5144 of 2018 as a summary case under Section 143 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (as amended), within a stipulated time.

2. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the case has been pending for 4 years from the year 2018 without any progress.

3. In such view of the matter, the learned Magistrate is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of the case within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
