Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fifth respondent - Revenue Divisional Officer, Attur and 4th respondent - District Collector to pass an appropriate order to mutate in the village accounts as patta lands in favour of our name regarding the Survey No.392/5, 393/5 of Chinnakalrayan malai North village, Pethanaickanpalayam Taluk, Salem District.

O R D E R

Respondents 1 to 4 are unnecessary parties in the writ petition and hence, deleted.

2.This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 02.01.2020 and make necessary corrections in the revenue records within the time stipulated by this Court.

3.Mr.K.Parameshwaran, learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the 5th and 6th respondents, submitted that the 5th respondent, namely the Revenue Divisional Officer, has already fixed the date of enquiry on 23.10.2020 at 11.00 a.m. The learned counsel also submitted that the petitioner can be present for the enquiry along with all the relevant documents. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the 5th respondent has already called the petitioner for an enquiry, there shall be a direction to the 5th respondent to conduct the enquiry and pass orders, strictly in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
