ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned XX Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Allikulam, Chennai to complete the trial of C.C.No.6550 of 2016 as a summary case under Section 143 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881, (as amended) within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

3. On perusal of the docket order, it appears that the accused was not appearing before the Trial Court even after the issuance of non bailable warrant and the case has been protracted from 24.01.2019 without any valid reasons. Such view of the matter, there shall be a direction to the learned XX Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Allikulam, Chennai to dispose of the main case in C.C.No.6550 of 2016 on merits within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
