This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register an FIR on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 20.03.2015, investigate the matter and file a final report within a stipulated period of time.

2. The petitioner has given a complaint as against one Rajesh Kumar, who is dealing with sales of the second hand car having a company in the name of RS Trade and Marketing Company. The petitioner parked his Ford Icon car bearing registration No.TN02-T-0295 in J.M.Motors, a mechanic shed owned by Zahir Hussain, believing the words of Rajesh Kumar that he would sell the car. But the said Rajesh Kumar had cheated the petitioner without giving any money after selling the car. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent police.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint given by the petitioner, C.S.R.No.191/2015 was assigned and the matter is pending enquiry.

4. Since already CSR No.191/2015 was assigned on the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry and upon enquiry, if the materials are gathered indicating any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible.
