Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent Tahsildar to change the patta No.1013 to the lands in Survey No.116/3, Nagiampatti village, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem to an extent of 2174 sq.ft. in the name of the petitioner based on her registered sale deed No.216/2010 dated 04.02.2010 on the file of SRO, Thammampatti, Salem and on her various representation dated 22.04.2015, 17.07.2019 and 13.08.2018 within appropriate time frame. (The case has been heard through video conference) The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation seeking to issue patta in her name based on her registered sale deed No.216/2010 dated 04.02.2010. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, she had purchased a vacant site to an extent of 2174 sq.ft. in Survey No. 116/3, Nagiampatti Village, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem from one Durairaj in the year 2010. Thereafter, she has made an application before the 3rd respondent seeking for patta in her favour as early as on 22.04.2015. But, so far, her application was not considered and no order has been passed on it. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.
3. Considering the limited prayer sought in the Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the 3rd respondent Tahsildar is directed to consider the petitioner's application and to pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
