ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to register the complaint given by the petitioner dated 10.10.2014.

In the petition, it has been stated that on 20.04.1992, a partition deed was executed between the petitioner's father and the petitioner along with his other brothers. In the said

partition deed, 'D' schedule property was allotted to the petitioner and he was cultivating in the said land. On 08.12.2014, while the petitioner was cultivating the land, the petitioner's elder brother Rajangam and villagers namely, Rasi and Arumuga Achari had prevented the petitioner from cultivating the said land. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 10.12.2014. Since no action has been taken till date, the petitioner has come forward with this petition. 3.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.97 of 2014 on the complaint lodged by his brother Rajangam, in which, now investigation is pending.

4. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on the petitioner's complaint dated 10.12.2014 along with Crime No.97 of 2014 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

6. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
