ORDER

The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the statutory revision filed by the petitioner on 10.07.2017 within a reasonable time.

2. Aggrieved by the order of the second respondent dated 14.6.2017 for recovery, the petitioner has filed a statutory revision before the first respondent on 10.7.2017. Since no order has been passed on the same, the petitioner has come to this Court.

3. Mr.L.P.Shanmughasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader, taking notice on behalf of the respondents, sought four weeks time to consider the statutory revision filed by the petitioner.

Placing on record his request, the first respondent is hereby directed to consider and dispose of the statutory revision filed by the petitioner dated 10.7.2017 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. Consequently, W.M.P.No.29964 of 2017 is closed. No costs.
