ORDER

The petitioner has filed the writ petition seeking to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in Na.Ka.No.3538/A1/2010 dated 30.04.2010 passed by the respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to provide all the monetary benefits for the period from 01.05.2010 to 31.05.2010 to the petitioner.

Heard both sides and by consent of both sides, the main writ petition is taken up for final hearing.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was working as a Headmaster in Government Higher Secondary School at Gudalur, Vellore District. He retired on 30.04.2010. He gave a representation to the respondent on 29.03.2010, requesting the respondent to extend the period of his retirement for one month which is based on completion of academic year from 01.05.2010 to 31.05.2010. rejected by the impugned order dated 30.04.2010. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. 4.

It is not known how the petitioner can file a writ petition after seven years when rejection order was passed on 30.04.2010. Therefore, this Court, finding no explanation whatsoever to condone the inordinate delay, is not inclined to entertain the writ petition. The writ petition fails and the same is dismissed. No cost. Consequently, connected WMP is closed.
