Crl.M.P.No.7835 of 2021 in Crl.A.SR.No.24991 of 2021 D.BHARATHA CHAKRAVARTHY, J., This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 42 days in filing the appeal against the acquittal judgment passed in C.C.No.78 of 2018, dated 04.12.2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.1, Tiruppur.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the time taken for getting opinion and thereafter, getting approval of the Department and thereafter, preparing the grounds of appeal and sending it for getting approval and get sanction and filing the appeal, I am inclined to hold that the petitioner has explained the delay.

Therefore, the delay of 42 days in filing the appeal in Crl.A.SR.No.24991 of 2021 is condoned.

4. Registry is directed to number the Crl.A.SR.No.13687 of 2020, if it is otherwise in order and also directed to print the name of M/s.K.Elango, G.Chamki Raj & M.Mahalakshmi as learned Counsel for the respondent at the time of admission itself.
