Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to appointment of the petitioner as a Village Administrative Officer (VAO) forthwith, on par with the other candidates who were all in the withheld list in the year 2011, of the 2nd respondent.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that she has participated in the selection process to the post of Village Administrative Officer during the year 2010 in pursuant to the notification of the second respondent for filling up 3484 vacancies and that she has also participated in the certificate verification, no orders have been passed as to her selection and withholding the result and in this regard has submitted a representation dated 13.04.2015 to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the second respondent and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.T.Vadivelan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 3 and Miss.C.N.G.Niraimathi, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent.

4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 13.04.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
