Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to create, newly initialise, implement and establish courses in Tamil language for Professional Courses in our State including for Medicine (MBBS) & Dentistry (BDS), Humanities, Architecture, Computer Science Engineering, Engineering and Law in Tamil Nadu in Tamil Language as an Optional Course Pilot Program in all State Run Universities within a time bound manner on the lines of Madhya Pradesh Government and if possible implement the same in Tamil Nadu within a reasonable time frame as fixed by this Court based on the petitioner's representation dated 14.11.2022. It is essentially a matter of policy in the hands of the Executive and no specific direction in this regard can be issued on the judicial side.
