ORDER

1. This Civil Revision Petition has been filed, to direct the Family Court, Coimbatore, to dispose of the divorce petition in HMOP.No.1225 of 2018 within a time frame.

2. This court heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner.

3. The husband is the petitioner herein and he had filed HMOP.No.1225 of 2018 before the Family Court, Coimbatore, seeking dissolution of marriage on the ground of cruelty. Mediation and Lok Adalat efforts have been failed and a counter had already been filed by the opposite party. It is represented that both the parties are Doctors by profession and they want to get along with the case.

4. Considering the narrow scope of the prayer, without prejudice to the rights and contentions of both the parties, there shall be a direction to the Family Court, Coimbatore, to dispose of the HMOP.No.1225 of 2018, within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Both the parties are directed to extend their full cooperation for early disposal of the case.

5. With the above directions, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
