(Order of the Court was made by Dr.ANITA SUMANTH,J.) The Miscellaneous Petition is filed seeking emergency leave of six (6) days on the ground that the mother of the petitioner's husband is incapacitated and suffering from various ailments.

2. The main Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order rejecting the request for 40 days leave sought on behalf of her husband.

3. Since the petitioner has made a similar request as made in this Miscellaneous Petition by way of representation dated 04.05.2023, Mr.S.Rajakumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who appears for the respondents, would assure the Court that the request will be considered in accordance with law expeditiously and in any event, within a period of two

(2) weeks from today.

4. Hence, and in the interests of clarity there is a direction to R3, who is the appropriate authority, to consider the grant or otherwise of emergency leave in terms of applicable Rules and Regulations and pass orders within a period of two (2) weeks from today. passed within the time stipulated as aforesaid, shall be forwarded to the petitioner.
