This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 11.07.2016.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.
3. On a reading of the complaint dated 11.07.2016, the dispute essentially appears to be between the petitioner and his brother. It is alleged that the petitioner's brother had attacked the petitioner.
4. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that on the complaint of the petitioner dated 11.07.2016, the petition enquiry is pending in CSR No.347/2016 before the respondent.
5.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent is directed to expeditiously conduct enquiry and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, in accordance with the law laid down by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumar vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [(2014) 4 SCC 1], otherwise, the petition may be closed under intimation to the petitioner.
