Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission based on petitioner's representation dated 08.06.2016 to conduct the programme which is scheduled to be held on 17.06.2016 at Gollapuriyamman Kovil, situated at Thathanaickenpatti, Dokkubothana Halli Post, Nallampalli, Dharmapuri District.

By consent the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner claims to be the Organizer of the Temple festival of Gollapuriyamman Kovil, situated at Thathanaickenpatti, Dokkubothana Halli Post, Nallampalli, Dharmapuri District and he submitted an application dated 08.06.2016 to the respondents praying for permission to conduct cultural programme which includes song and dance programme to be held on 17.06.2016 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

submit that in the event of permission being granted, there will not be any law and order problem and no vulgarity or obscenity will be there in that place and prays for appropriate orders. 4.Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Sivakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.S.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
5.This Court without going into the merits of the representation made by the petitioner directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the application/ representation dated 08.06.2016 in accordance with law and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner on or before 15.06.2016.
