COMMON PRAYER : Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representations made by the petitioners dated 20.05.2019 to the 2nd to 6th respondents and appoint them to the post of teacher in Kindergarten/Montessori classes established by the Government of Tamil Nadu if found eligible for the same.

For Petitioners in all W.Ps :Mr.Naveen Kumar Murthy for Mrs.S.Varsha For Respondents in all W.Ps :Mr.K.Karthikeyan Government Advocate C O M M O N O R D E R All the writ petitions are filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representations made by the petitioners dated 20.05.2019 to the 2nd to 6th respondents and appoint them to the post of teacher in Kindergarten/Montessori classes established by the Government of Tamil Nadu, if found eligible for the same.

2. The writ petitions cannot be maintained in my view, for appointing them directly to the post of teacher in Kindergarten/Montessori classes, merely because they undergone the training for teaching the Kindergarten/Montessori classes. Every appointment has to be made through proper channel as per the Rules. Since the writ petitioners had already given representations and having requisite qualification, it is for the State to take call on that and hence, the respondents are directed to consider the representations and dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and pass a speaking order in this regard. The direction is given only to consider the representation and the same would not amount as a direction to appoint them as a Teacher.

3.The writ petitions stand disposed of with the above observation. No costs.
