O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 05.04.2014.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint on 05.04.2014, as against one Ramachandran and Barna. On receipt of the said complaint, CSR.No.165 of 2014 has been assigned. But, till date, no action was taken. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present application.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, a case was already registered in Crime No.767 of 2014 for the offence under Section 75 of C.P. Act and the same is under investigation.

3. Since a case was already registered on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner,nothing survives in the petition and the prayer that has been made in the present petition has become infructuous. Hence, the criminal original petition is dismissed.
