ORDER

Mr.Prithivi Chopda, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice for the respondents and has no objection for grant of the prayer of the petitioner for consideration of her representation dated 02.05.2023 seeking permission to run a bunk shop at No.862, Kabalamurthy Salai, Chinthadripet, Chennai - 600 002 (premises in question). 2.

Thus, mandamus is issued to R2 to consider the representation dated 02.05.2023 and pass orders after hearing the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order in accordance with law.

In light of the averment at paragraph 5 of the affidavit that the petitioner has been running the bunk shop at the premises in question for several years and has also been issued street vendor identity card, status quo as on date shall be maintained till disposal of representation dated 02.05.2023 or four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, whichever is earlier.
