This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the 1 st respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 23.03.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for registration of the death of the grand father of the petitioner who died on 04.02.2015. 2.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 1 st respondent to conduct an enquiry under the Registration of Tamil Nadu Births and Deaths Act, 1969 and pass orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
