This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider and pass orders forthwith on petitioner's application dated 16.04.2024 seeking permission/'No Objection Certificate' for starting 'Excel Global School' at No.R-54, 51st Street, T.V.S.Avenue, Anna Nagar West Extension, Chennai - 600 101 by the petitioner Trust.

2. Heard Mr.B.Ram Prasath, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.P.Rajarajeswari, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner's application is under scrutiny and orders shall be passed within a period of six weeks.

4. In view of the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 16.04.2024 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
