The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 417, 376 IPC in Crime No.119 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that this Court on 17.05.2024, directed for mediation between the parties. However, the mediation is still pending and the petitioner refused to marry the victim girl. Hence, he vehemently opposed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

gd 4.It is seen that this Court on 17.05.2024, posted the matter for mediation. However, mediation between the parties is pending. Taking into consideration the facts of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsels, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
