O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to complete the Investigation and file a final report in respect of Crime No.2/AC/2018/CC-I.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner moved a petition to quash the FIR. This Court, by an order dated 28.03.2022 recorded the statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the investigation has been completed and final report was filed in this case. However, when the petitioner applied for a copy of final report, it was returned saying that the final report is yet to be taken on file.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the final report was filed during March 2022, however, the same was returned for certain 2/6

clarifications. He would further submit that the respondents would clarify and file the final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the respondent police is directed to file final report after duly complying with the returns and queries raised by the learned Special Judge for the cases under P.C.Act, Chennai, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. No costs.
