Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India,to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the first Respondent relating to his proceedings in F.TN/ELE/N/778/SRO/NCTE/2003-2004/119 dated 24.11.2003 and consequently direct the first respondent to grant recognition to the Petitioner institution after conducting a proper inspection in accordance with Section 14 of the NCTE Act 1993 in accordance with the direction given in St Johns Teacher Training Institute Vs the Regional Directors and other reported in 2003 (3) SCC Page 321.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the Institution is closed and therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition to be adjudicated upon further. He also made and endorsement to that effect.
