Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking a direction to the respondents to take necessary steps and conduct a speedy disposal in C.C.No.789 of 2010 (on the file of Hon'ble Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram) in Crime No.687 of 2009 (on the file of the Inspector of Police, S11, Tambaram Police Station) within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R
The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to take necessary steps and conduct a speedy disposal in C.C.No.789 of 2010 (on the file of Hon'ble Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram) in Crime No.687 of 2009 (on the file of the Inspector of Police, S11, Tambaram Police Station) within the time stipulated by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the case in C.C.No.789 of 2010 is pending for the past six years without any progress. Thus, he sought for a direction to expedite the trial in C.C.No.789 of 2010 on the file the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that Non Bailable Warrant is pending as against A3 and that is the reason, there is a delay in progressing the trial.
4. In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram to split up the case in C.C.No.789 of 2010 in respect of the accused appearing before the Court and proceed with the trial and dispose the same as early as possible.
5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
