Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to transfer Patta No.C.A.No.385/86-87 (Tr.429/86-87) for the schedule mentioned property.

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the application dated 25.09.2013, wherein and whereby he sought for transferring Patta in his favour for the schedule mentioned property.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court, is that the said request has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the second respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 25.09.2013 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
