(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking a Mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner representation dated 22.10.2020, seeking disbursement of his deceased mother's service benefits to him and the same is pending on the file of the respondent.
2. This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. There is no representation for the respondent.
3. This Court considering the limited prayer sought for in this Writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, direct the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 22.10.2020, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner herein.
