ORDER

This writ petition is filed to call for the records of the impugned order bearing Lr.No.504/CAI/AU/2024 dated 29.02.2024 passed by the 3rd respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to grant extension of affiliation to the petitioner Educational Institution for the Academic Year 2024-25.

2. Heard Mr.M.Vijaya Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate for the first respondent and Mr.U.Bharanidharan, learned counsel for the respondents 2 to 4.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that they were already given affiliation. Therefore, nothing survives in the present writ petition. The learned counsel would further submit that All India

Council for Technical Education has now given Extension of Approval vide letter dated 20.05.2025 for the academic year 2025-26.

4. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the respondents are directed to consider the above AICTE approval and take a decision within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
