O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to act upon the complaint of the petitioner dated 14.11.2015 and to register the complaint of the petitioner and file a final report.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against one Hemarani, stating that the petitioner was constructing a house in the land owned by him but the said Hemarani is preventing him to proceed with the construction. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint. Since no action was taken, the present petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint of the petitioner, C.S.R.No.140/2015 was assigned and the matter is pending enquiry.

5. Since C.S.R. number has been assigned, this Court directs the the respondent police to conduct an enquiry in C.S.R.No.140/2015 and and upon enquiry, if the materials are gathered indicating any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible.

6. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
