ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file final report on the complaint dated 5.7.2015 vide C.S.R.No.516 of 2015, dated 6.7.2015 according to law.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he lodged a complaint with the respondent police as against one Natarajan, Tharani, Sowriraj and his sons with regard to the payment of commission amount and on receipt of the said complaint, the respondent assigned CSR number as CSR No.516 of 2015. But, till date, no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint given by the petitioner, the respondent police assigned CSR number as CSR No.516 of 2015 and the matter is pending for enquiry.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the complaint lodged by the petitioner has been assigned CSR Number as C.S.R.No.516 of 2015, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct enquiry in C.S.R.No.516 of 2015 and upon enquiry, if there are materials indicating commission of any offence, he is also directed to investigate the matter and proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
