This petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to register the complaint dated 26.10.2015 and to file final report within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. On 26.10.2015, the petitioner found that there was an accident between Seethanjeri and Ammanpakkam, in which, a share auto rickshaw hit one Munusamy, Son of Muniappan. In the said accident, the said Munusamy sustained grievous injuries and died on the spot. Hence, a complaint was lodged with the 3rd respondent police. It is the allegation of the petitioner that the 3rd respondent had registered a case on the auto bearing Registration No.TN 23 AR 6036 but actually, the auto involved in the accident was bearing Registration No. AP-03-X-7849. the present petition has been filed by the petitioner to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 26.10.2015.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that during the course of investigation, if the respondent police comes to the conclusion that only the vehicle bearing Registration No.AP-03-X-7849 is involved in the said accident, the said vehicle will be implicated and necessary action will be taken.

4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is of the opinion that there is no need to pass any direction. Therefore, recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the criminal original petition is closed.
