The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.2730 of 2015 on the file of the respondent by fixing a time frame at the earliest in the interest of justice.

2. The petitioner herein has lodged a complaint as against one Vijayabaskaran, Sudha, Madhusudhanan, Deepika for their dishonest and fraudulent acts and thereby causing loss to the petitioner. Based on the said complaint, the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.2730 of 2015 for the offences under sections 417 and 420 IPC. But there is no progress in the investigation of the said case. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent police is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.2730 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible.

The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
