This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 22.10.2015 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint as against one Lakshmi, W/o Selvaraj and (2) Kalaiyarasi, W/o Kumar on the allegation of land grabbing. Though the said complaint was lodged on 22.10.2015, till date, no action was taken. Hence, the present petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, C.S.R.No. 214/2015 was assigned and the petition enquiry is pending. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Since C.S.R.No.214/2015 has been assigned, this Court directs the 2nd respondent police to conduct an enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner and upon enquiry, if the materials are gathered indicating any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible. In the course of enquiry, if no prima facie is made out or the matter is civil in nature, he is directed to pass appropriate orders on the complaint made by the petitioner.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
