By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner is appointed as Sweeper on 28.07.1982 by the second respondent along with other persons and on 07.01.1984 the services of Thiruvalargal Sivamani, Masalji and Sakkan who were appointed along with the petitioner were regularised as casual labourers and subsequently, they were reduced in rank as daily wages and in their place, Thiruvalargal Kuppusamy and Kandasamy were appointed and their services were regularised. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that though the petitioner is similarly placed like that of the above said persons, his services are yet to be regularised and in this regard, has submitted representation dated 24.08.2015 to the first respondent through proper channel and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.M.V.Muralidharan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Srinivasan, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 24.08.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and in the event of positive decision taken is directed to forward the said proposal to the first respondent within a period of two weeks thereafter, after taking decision and the first respondent on receipt of the proposal if any, from the second respondent is directed to consider the same in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
