ORDER

(Order of the Court was delivered by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) Mandamus is sought for to take appropriate disciplinary action against the 2nd respondent, who according to the petitioner, has abused his official position.

2. Mr.Suhrith Parthasarathy, learned counsel appearing for the Registrar General would submit that a Note has been prepared and the same will be placed before the Hon'ble Portfolio Judges of the District, where the officer is serving at present.

3. In view of the said submission and the in-house procedure, which vests a discretion with the Portfolio Judges to proceed either with the disciplinary action or any action against the Judicial Officer. The Writ Petition is dismissed. However, the Registrar General is required to follow 2/4

up the matter and place the matter at the earliest before the Hon'ble Portfolio Judges of the District concerned. There shall be no order as to costs.
