Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to direct the first respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.254 of 2014 on its file and to refer the matter either to the proper investigation wing or to TANPID Court, Coimbatore or any other Court having jurisdiction and competent to dealt with the above case, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court, so as to enable the said Court to proceed against the accused in accordance with law at the earliest. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.254 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of 2014 on its file and to refer the matter either to the proper investigation wing or to TANPID Court, Coimbatore or any other Court having jurisdiction.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one Arthanari, S/o.Perumal for the alleged offence punishable under the provisions of Money Circulation Banning (Scheme) Act, 3, 4 of Tamilnadu Chit Fund and Money Circulation Banning (Scheme) Act read with Section 420 of I.P.C. Though the complaint was registered as early as on 03.05.2014, till date there is no progress in the investigation and final report has not been filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public P0rosecutor.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the first respondent to expedite the investigation, complete the same and file final report as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
