O R D E R

The petition is to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.857 of 2022 for the offences alleged under Sections 408, 420 IPC, 477-A, 467, 468, 471 and 120(B) IPC.

2. Today, when the matter was called, the learned counsels for the petitioners and the 2nd respondent have filed separate affidavits mentioning the fact that the dispute between the parties has been settled amicably and the 2nd respondent has decided to withdraw the allegations in the FIR and prayed for quashing of the charge sheet and connected proceedings in C.C.No.857 of 2022 on the basis of the compromise.

3. The parties and their respective counsels are present before this Court and were identified by Mr.K.Nagarajan, Sub Inspector of Police, Team IV, EDF -II, CCB, Vepery, Chennai. The affidavits filed by the petitioners and the 2nd respondent are taken on record. 2/5

4. At this stage, the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent submitted that this Court also may record that the 1st petitioner has agreed to withdraw the complaint filed by her against the Managing Director of Firm Foundations and Housing Private Limited.

5. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the proceedings pending on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate, CCB and CBCID, Egmore, Chennai. Hence, the impugned charge sheet in C.C.No.857 of 2022 is quashed.

6. With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
