O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate to dispose of CMP.No.897 of 2013 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kangeyam, within the stipulated period of time as fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner has filed petition under Section 13(3) of the Tamilnadu Birth and Death Registration act in CMP.No.397 of 2013 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kangeyam, to register the death of her husband. The said petition was periodically adjourned for the past 2 1⁄2 years. Under such circumstances, the petitioner has come with the present petition to give a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate to dispose of C.M.P.No.397/2013 on his file.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since the matter is pending for more than 2 years, time may be fixed to dispose of the said petition by the learned Judicial Magistrate,Kangeyam.

4. Considering the submissions made by the leanred counsel for the petitioner, without going into the claims made in C.M.P.No.397/2013, this Court directs the learned Judicial https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Magistrate, Kangeyam, to dispose of C.M.P.No.397/2013 as early as possible preferably within a period of two months on merits and in accordance with law.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
