O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated on 04.06.2015 and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner herein has lodged a complaint against Sarath and 9 others on the allegation that on 04.06.2016 at about 8.30 p.m., due to wordy quarrel, the counter petitioners assaulted the petitioner, her husband, son, sister and brotherin-law, due to which, they sustained injuries and the petitioner was admitted in Government Hospital, Ponneri. Hence, a complaint was lodged. Since no action was taken so far, the present petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, C.S.R.No.177/2015 was assigned and the petition enquiry is pending. He further submitted that the petitioner has not produced the wound certificate. If the petitioner produces the wound certificate, necessary action will be taken.

5. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the petitioner to give the A.R. copy along with a copy of this order to the 2nd respondent police. On receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent police is directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner in CSR.No.177/2015 and upon enquiry, if the materials are gathered indicating any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible.

6. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
