O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to register the release deed dated 08.06.2022 executed in favour of the petitioner in respect of the property covered in Gramanatham S.No.318 - 1080 sq.ft out of 5040 sq.ft situated at Anakaputhur Village, Pallavaram Taluk, Chengalpet district and on registering the same to release the same to the petitioner. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the aforesaid property was inherited by the petitioner and a release deed dated 08.06.2022 was executed in his favour. Therefore, the petitioner presented the document for registration of the release deed before the respondent, however, the respondent failed to receive the same. Thereby, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition. 3.Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondent to register the release deed

dated 08.06.2022 executed in favour of the petitioner in respect of the aforesaid property and pass orders on the same within a particular time frame fixed by this Court.

4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that if the petitioner's possession and title is established before the respondent, the respondent would entertain the same in accordance with law and appropriate order will be passed within the time stipulated by this court. 5.Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to produce the documents pertaining to his possession before the respondent. On such receipt, if the respondent satisfied with the title, may entertain the documents in accordance with law, if it is otherwise in order within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, upon receipt of necessary stamp duty and registration charges, if not already paid. 6.This writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid directions. No costs.
