ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Having heard learned counsels for the parties at length, learned counsel for the petitioners prays that he may be permitted to withdraw this writ petition, which is only a challenge raised to Ruling No.6 under Rule 22-B of the Tamil Nadu Fundamental Rules brought into effect from 12.08.1976. He submits that this being the limited challenge in the present writ petition, he does not want to pursue the same as the representation filed by the writ petitioners has been rejected by the Government vide Order dated 06.07.2020, to which, a challenge has already been raised in a separate writ petition.

2. The writ petition is therefore permitted to be dismissed as withdrawn as prayed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
