The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent not to interfere with the civil dispute and direct the 1st respondent to take necessary action against the 2nd respondent.

2. In the petition, it has been stated that the petitioner is doing real estate business. One Nataraj Murthi is doing finance business in Kelambakkam, Kancheepuram District. The petitioner borrowed a sum of Rs.16,40,000/- from the said Natraj Murthi for developing his business and gave a cheque bearing no.630054002, pronote and two blank stamp papers to him. Due to financial problem, the petitioner was not able to repay the said loan amount to him. Hence, the said Natraj Murthi has given a complaint against the petitioner before the 2nd respondent for recovery of money. frequently contacting the petitioner through phone and threatening him to repay the amount. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint lodged by the Natraj Murthi as against this petitioner was enquired and closed.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there is no need to give any specific direction. Hence, the present criminal original petition is closed.
