The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the 5 Chairman of Panruti Muncipality and one Sri Brammanatha Swamy Construction th wherein one R.Prema is a partner, who is none else than the daughter of the 5 respondent. As per the guidelines envisaged the tenderer should not be a relative either to Chairman of Municipality or to Commissioner of Municipality or to any th respondent by abusing the power granting the Councilor of the municipality. tenders to the contractor M/s.Sri Brammanatha Swamy Construction, which is against the tender rules and regulations. Hence, the petitioner made representation dated 06.02.2025 to the respondents 1 to 4 and the same was received by them on 07.02.2025, but no action was taken so far, hence the petitioner filed the present writ petition.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 06.02.2025 will be considered on merits and in accordance with law within the time frame stipulated by this Court.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for R1 and the learned Government Advocates appearing for the respondent 2 to 4 and perused the materials available on record.
5. This Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.02.2025, after giving due notice to the petitioner and the interested 3/5
parties and opportunity of hearing, on merits and in accordance with law and to consider the documents filed by the parties and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.This writ petition is disposed of, with the above observations and directions. No costs.
