Mrs. T. Girija, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to issue Ration Card as per his application dated 07.06.2010, within a time frame.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given the application as early as on 07.06.2010, for the issuance of Family Card,the 3rd respondent has not issued the family card till today.

4.Mrs. T. Girija, learned Government Advocate for the respondents submitted that the petitioner may be directed to give a copy of the application dated 07.06.2010 to the third respondent and in such an event, the third respondent may be directed to issue the Family Card, in accordance with law, if the application is in order.

5.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the petitioner is directed to give a copy of the application dated 07.06.2010 to the third respondent, within one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the third respondent is directed to consider the same and issue the Family Card to the petitioner, in accordance with law, if the application is in order, within four weeks from the date of receipt of the application. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
